THE ACTION OF COLLECTING MEMORIES, MAR 2020

“ Idea comes from my past experience of moving and migrating, that encourages my curiosity about the state of moving in different aspects. In addition to researching global phenomenon, I become more interested in observing traces of moving/migrating left in individuals. It could be a movement, a memory, a way of life, a thought or perception in contexts, or a relation established with the environment. How could art creation provide an interesting move of viewing as well as interactive interpretation? Because of Covid-19, the step of material-collecting turned into collecting audio recordings online. Before the performance in end of this month and September, I would need more stories from you who have experienced moving/migrating. Hopefully this small action could create a meaningful time space for you while speaking and listening to your own pathway of moving.”
